I had the opportunity to be trained as a studio potter under the guidance of Ray Meeker and Deborah Smith at the Golden Bridge Pottery in Pondicherry. Here, I experienced the journey of an object, the sculpting of a material to make a form. My recent work has involved creating with stoneware that demonstrates what the clay body is made of and tries to articulate, the touch of the potter’s hand.
